Organisation	The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) is one of the three European Standardisation Organisations (ESOs). Based in Sophia Antipolis - a high tech research park in southern France - ETSI unites 789 members from 52 countries inside and outside Europe ETSI produces globally-applicable standards for ICT (Information and Communications Technologies), including fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and internet technologies.
Mission	To exploit opportunities in the development and deployment of globally applicable standards for telecommunications and other electronic communications networks and related services, and to participate in appropriate global and regional initiatives'.
