O-Member National body which follow the worh of the committee or subcommittee as an observer.

Official Journal of the European Commission An official publication of the Institutions of the European Union which is published daily.

Open Standard An open standard is a standard that is publicly available and has various rights to use associated with it, and may also have various properties of how it was designed (e.g. open process).
Openness Possibility of all interested parties to be represented in standardization.
Orphaning Situation of users who had implemented a technology that failed to become standard, and consequently ceased to be supported and further improved.
