Term Description
Harmonised standard One "Harmonised standard" is a standard used for implementing a given Directive.

Harmonisation (of national standards) One "Harmonised standard" is a standard used for implementing a given Directive.

Historical Standard Choice of one person or a few people that finds broader apllication and gradually becomes broadly based.

Horizontal standard Standard that sets requirements for a collection of different entities or provide methods to be used to check whether requirements set for collections of different entities have been met.
