Description

European mark of conformity to European Standards developed by CEN and CENELEC.

Procedures

The Keymark procedures include:

  • Third party testing and certification
  • Regular factory inspection
  • Ongoing product and production monitoring
  • Visible use of the Keymark logo on products
  • Regular marketplace monitoring
Keymark certifiers and labs:
  • Certification bodies accredited against EN 45011 (EN ISO/IEC 17065) by a signatory of the EA-MLA
    Located in Europe
    The EN shall be implemented in the country of the certification body
    Empowerment + Transfer Agreement
  • Testing bodies accredited against EN ISO/IEC 17025 by a signatory to a Multilateral Accreditation Agreement
    Located worldwide
